Veteran player Abdullah Said made his first appearance for Zamalek in the current 2026-2027 season after featuring against El Mansoura El Suez Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League.

Said came on as a substitute in the final minutes against El Mansoura El Suez Petrojet in a match that Zamalek won 2-1 as part of the third round of the Premier League.

Abdullah Said had been absent from the first and second rounds of the league due to physical and technical preparation before returning to play against El Mansoura El Suez Petrojet.

Said is one of the oldest players active in the Premier League, being 41 years old.

Abdullah Said is not the only player representing the stars of experience in the Premier League.

The local league includes a number of players who have crossed the 40-year mark, along with others who are approaching it, such as Al-Mahdi Sulaiman, Amer Amer, and Mahmoud Genesh.
