The Saudi Al-Ahli player requested to leave the team's ranks during the current summer transfer window, after a disappointing season.
And the Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" reported that Al-Kholood Club submitted a request to Al-Ahli to obtain the services of its young player Yassin Al-Zubaidi on loan until the end of the next season.
The newspaper explained that the 23-year-old wishes to leave "Al-Raqi" in order to secure more playing time during next season's matches.
Al-Zubaidi was promoted to the first team in 2023, but he failed to earn playing opportunities, so he moved to Al-Akhdoud on loan during the second half of the 2023-2024 season, as well as the 2024-2025 season.
Yassin Al-Zubaidi returned to Al-Ahli's squad last season, but he only appeared in 4 matches as a substitute, totaling just 27 minutes, which made him eager to leave.
Al-Zubaidi primarily plays as a right winger, though he can also play on the left wing, albeit less frequently.
It is worth noting that Al-Kholood was one of the biggest surprises of last season in Saudi football, as they reached the final of the King Cup before losing to Al-Hilal.
