According to a report by the Algerian channel "Al-Hayat", the Algerian Federation is seeking to contract with a Spanish coach, and former Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández will not be among the candidates due to his high financial demands.
The report revealed that Xavi requested 600 thousand euros per month, which halted the negotiations.
It is expected that the new coach of the Algerian national team will be announced next week.
