Mohamed Magdy "Afsha" and Mohamed Abdullah, players of Al-Ahly's first football team, joined the team's group training session this evening at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Gezira.

Ahmed Gaballah, the team doctor, clarified that Afsha has recovered from adductor muscle pain, while Mohamed Abdullah had been suffering from ankle pain. He confirmed both players are now fit to participate in the group training session.
The team resumed training after taking a rest day yesterday, Sunday, according to the schedule set by the technical staff in preparation for their match against Smouha, which will be held next Thursday evening in the third round of the league championship.
Al-Ahly had previously secured a 2-0 victory over ZED, with goals scored by Ashraf Bencherqi and Taher Mohamed Taher, in the match between the two teams last Friday evening during the second round of the tournament.
Afsha scored the winning goal for Al-Ahly against Eastern Company ENPPI in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Mohamed Abdullah returned to Al-Ahly last season after being on loan to Ceramica Cleopatra.
