Abu Rida honors the President of South Africa during Egypt's friendly match against Bafana Bafana

Egyptian Football Association President Hany Abo Rida was keen to honor Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, on the sidelines of the match between the Egyptian and South African national teams, currently being held at Cairo Stadium.

The Egyptian national team will face South Africa in a friendly match at 9:00 PM today, Sunday, at Cairo International Stadium, marking the conclusion of the September camp.

Abo Rida presented the South African president with a Pharaonic commemorative gift, along with the shield of the Egyptian Football Association, in appreciation of the distinguished relations between the two countries and to affirm the depth of sports ties between Egypt and South Africa.

The honoring ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, led by Minister of Sports Ashraf Sobhy, alongside Khaled El-Darndely, Vice President of the Football Association, Mostafa Abou Zeid and Tarek Abu Al-Einin, members of the Association's Board of Directors, Dr. Mostafa Azam, Secretary General of the Association, Shawky Gharib, Technical Director of the Association, Ahmed Diab, Chairman of the League of Clubs, and Mohamed Yahya Lotfy, Chairman of United Sports Company.
