Abo Rida stated in media remarks: "The Arab Club Championship was among the key topics discussed during the meeting, with a desire to continue organizing the tournament; however, determining a suitable date poses a significant challenge given the congestion of the international and continental calendars."

He added, "The numerous commitments of clubs and national teams during the current and upcoming periods make the task of scheduling the Arab tournament more difficult, especially with the overlap of many international and continental events, which requires careful study before making a final decision on the tournament's date and format."

He continued, "The Arab Union meeting was productive, during which upcoming Arab Union tournaments were discussed, including the organization of the Arab Club Championship."

He further noted, "The organization of the Arab Club Championship was discussed, but the calendar is extremely congested at this time, both for national teams and clubs due to their packed schedules. The goal for the coming period is to reach practical solutions that allow Arab tournaments to be held without affecting club and national team commitments, and we are handling this matter in coordination with FIFA."

He concluded, "We are trying to find optimal solutions and methods to hold our tournaments, in coordination with the International Federation of Association Football."

The newspaper mentioned that Cairo's hosting of the anticipated tournament comes as an extension of the notable presence of the Egyptian audience.

Al-Nasr is the defending champion after winning the final against their opponent Al-Nasr 2-1, thanks to a brace by Cristiano Ronaldo.
