Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the head coach of El Qanaa, expressed his happiness with opening the league season with a victory over Ceramica Cleopatra.

Speaking via Modern Channel, Abdel Nasser Mohamed said: "If I had written a scenario for El Qanaa's match against Ceramica Cleopatra, it would not have turned out the way it did."
He added, "Ceramica Cleopatra is a distinguished team that finished last season in fourth place."
He explained, "There was a sense of intimidation from my team in the first half, especially since most of the lineup consisted of players who had just been promoted from the Second Division."
He revealed, "At halftime, I told the El Qanaa players that we had played better after conceding the goal, and that we needed to focus on that and wait for God's grace, which is what happened in the end."
He emphasized, "I am staying at the El Qanaa club's rest house to be among the players. I have great confidence in them, and the league journey is still long."
He concluded, "I cannot describe how I felt after scoring a late goal to snatch a victory against Ceramica Cleopatra, especially while we were down to ten men due to a red card."
The match featured three penalty kicks: one for El Qanaa and two for Ceramica Cleopatra.
El Qanaa, the new entrant to the league, secured an exciting victory in the first round of the Egyptian League.
Ceramica Cleopatra is preparing to face El Ittihad on Friday in the second round of the Egyptian League.
Meanwhile, El Qanaa will face Gouna on Friday in the same round.
