A source from Zamalek revealed the club's financial gains from terminating the contract of the Tunisian striker Seif Eddine Jaziri.

The source told FilGoal.com: "Terminating Seif Eddine Jaziri's contract saved Zamalek more than half a million dollars, the value of his contract in his final season".
He added, "The duo of Hossam El-Mandouh, the treasurer, and Hussein El-Sayed, a member of the club's board of directors, played an important role in completing the negotiations with Jaziri to terminate his contract by mutual consent".

Jaziri departs the ranks of the White team as the club's all-time top scorer among foreign players.
Jaziri will have the right to join any team for free to play for them during the next season.
The 33-year-old joined Zamalek in 2021, coming from Arab Contractors.
During the last season, Jaziri participated in 22 matches wearing Zamalek's jersey and scored 4 goals.
Overall, Jaziri played 185 matches and succeeded in scoring 48 goals while providing 19 assists.
During his time with Zamalek, Jaziri won the Egyptian League three times, the Egypt Cup twice, the African Super Cup once, and the CAF Confederation Cup once.
