A source at Zamalek revealed that the club has received a new letter from the Egyptian Football Association regarding Ahmed Sayed "Zizo," a former player of the team.

Zizo transferred to Al Ahly at the beginning of last season after his contract with Zamalek ended.
A Zamalek source told FilGoal.com : "The Appeals Committee at the Football Association has granted Zamalek 10 days to submit documents supporting the club's appeal against the decision issued by the Players' Affairs Committee concerning Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the former team player."
He added, "Zamalek is ready with the documents substantiating the appeal it filed, and these will be submitted to the Appeals Committee at the Egyptian Football Association within the specified timeframe. The club remains fully prepared to meet all requirements related to this case."
Previously, both Zamalek and Zizo filed complaints against each other, each claiming entitlement to financial dues from the other party.
The Players' Affairs Committee at the Egyptian Football Association had notified both parties that their complaints were being archived.
Zizo filed a complaint with the Football Association demanding payment of his overdue dues from Zamalek.
Similarly, Zamalek filed a complaint against Zizo with the Football Association due to his absence from team training during the final period of his tenure at the White Castle.
Zizo left Zamalek at the end of the season before last and joined Al Ahly on a free transfer.
