Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the Zamalek club's board of directors, withdrew from today's Thursday meeting.
The meeting was regarding the establishment of the football company at Zamalek club.
A source from Zamalek revealed to FilGoal.com: "Ahmed Suleiman withdrew at the beginning of the Zamalek board meeting and did not listen to any item related to the football company".
He explained, "Suleiman's withdrawal came due to the leakage of the session's topic to the media before the start of the session".
Zamalek club announced the launch of the football company within the framework of a strategic vision aimed at building a new professional model for managing the football sector, in a way that achieves financial sustainability and ensures the club's stability in the long term.
Zamalek had previously announced reducing the number of cases filed against it on the FIFA website to 10.
Zamalek announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with one of the major construction companies to establish the club's new branch in October.
Zamalek explained in an official statement that the memorandum of understanding that was signed included the establishment of the new sports and social club branch and the investment area for the project in the city of October Gardens.
Zamalek revealed the agreement with the construction company to start implementing the project immediately upon receiving the land.
The club indicated that the land is scheduled to be received next week.
The signing of the memorandum was attended by Hussein Labib, President of Zamalek, Hisham Nasr, Vice President of the club, the head of the committee following up on the club's branch in October Gardens, and officials from the construction company.
