A source from the Referees Committee told FilGoal.com about the fate of the video analyzing controversial refereeing incidents in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The source told FilGoal.com: "The Referees Committee has decided to broadcast a video analyzing controversial incidents in the matches of the second round of the league, including the match between ZED and Al-Ahly."
Previously, the Referees Committee had broadcast a video about a refereeing incident in the first round of the league, which was Al-Ahly being awarded a penalty against Eastern Company ENPPI.
Essam Abd El-Fatah has been heading the Egyptian Referees Committee since the beginning of the current season, replacing Colombian Oscar Ruiz.
Al-Ahly defeated ZED 2-0 in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The match witnessed demands from ZED players for a penalty to be awarded, but referee Mohamed Maarouf signaled to continue play, ruling that there was no deliberate handball by Ashraf Bencharqi, the Al-Ahly player.
