A source from the Egyptian Football Association revealed the notification of 8 teams to open the licensing system on the African Football Confederation (CAF) platform to upload the required documents to complete the procedures for granting the license to participate in the African championships for the next season.

The deadline set by the African Football Confederation (CAF) is expected to end tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, to obtain the license for continental participation next season.

A source from the Football Association told FilGoal.com: "The notified clubs include the top seven clubs according to the final league standings, in addition to the runner-up of the Egypt Cup, granting them a deadline ending at exactly twelve o'clock noon tomorrow, Saturday, to complete uploading all required documents".

The clubs are: Zamalek, Pyramids, Al Ahly, Ceramica Cleopatra, Al Masry, Smouha and Enppi, which occupied the first 7 positions in the league standings, and ZED, runner-up of the Egypt Cup last season.

He added, "The association asked the clubs to submit responses and documents regarding all judgments and decisions issued against them by the Players' Status Committee and the competent judicial bodies of the International Federation (FIFA), as well as the judgments issued by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), along with proof of any legal procedures taken by the club, including appeals or objections submitted regarding those judgments, as part of the licensing system requirements approved by the African Football Confederation".

Hisham Nasr, the club's vice president, had previously revealed via the application: "Zamalek has settled all FIFA cases related to the African license and we have closed the files of Oleksandriya and Nday". (Read the details)
