Al-Ahly's technical staff, led by Hussein Ammouta, has decided to reinstate Mohamed El-Shenawy as the team's goalkeeper for upcoming matches.

An Al-Ahly source told FilGoal.com: "The technical staff has decided to bring back Mohamed El-Shenawy to guard the team's goal instead of Mostafa Shobeer in the league matches against El-Mokawloon El-Arab and Abu Qir Fertilizers."
He added, "This is to give him a chance to join the Egyptian national team before the Pharaohs' next camp this March."
Al-Ahly began the league season with goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeer in matches against Sharqia Enppi and ZED, with the Red Devils winning both games.
Shobeer's goal conceded two goals in the first match against Sharqia Enppi, which ended with Al-Ahly winning 3-2.
Al-Ahly will play against Smouha next Thursday in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Meanwhile, they will face El-Mokawloon El-Arab in the fourth round and Abu Qir Fertilizers in the fifth round, before the international break for the national team.
