A prominent businessman and economic expert has sent a message to FC Barcelona regarding the young Egyptian professional Hamza Abdelkarim, as the Catalan club's management searches for a dedicated striker during the current summer transfer window.
Barcelona is seeking to bolster its attacking line following the departures of Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski. The club hopes to sign Atlético Madrid star Julián Álvarez, although all indications suggest otherwise.
Barcelona has been trying to finalize the deal for Julián Álvarez since last June, but nothing has materialized so far, with the summer transfer market nearing its end in less than a week.
On the other hand, the Egyptian player Hamza Abdelkarim has delivered an outstanding performance with Barcelona's first team under coach Hansi Flick, which was clearly evident during the pre-season preparations for the new campaign.

Hamza Abdelkarim concluded the pre-season as Barcelona's top scorer, netting 4 goals in 6 matches. He was included in the squad list for the Elche match in the second round of La Liga, prior to his official registration with the first-team roster at the Spanish League Association.
The prominent Spanish economist and businessman, Joan Carles Calbet, wrote on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account: "I want to believe that all this fuss surrounding Julián Álvarez is merely an attempt to distract the technical staff and fill newspapers and radio talk shows, because it has been obvious for days that he will not sign for Barcelona."
He added: "Now that the pre-season period has ended, it would be better to save the millions and bet on Hamza Abdelkarim."
