Media reports today revealed a new obstacle that could prevent Mohamed Salah's transfer to Besiktas from happening, as the Turkish club seeks to complete the signing of the Egyptian international.
Mohamed Salah has been negotiating with Besiktas over the past few days to join the Turkish club in a free transfer deal, after the Egyptian international's contract with Liverpool ended.
It was reported that negotiations between Mohamed Salah and Besiktas management have been progressing positively in recent days, as the Turkish club raised its offer to sign the 34-year-old to a two-year contract with an annual salary of 15 million euros.

However, Turkish journalist "Ogün Şahinoğlu" stated that matters have become complicated again between Mohamed Salah and Besiktas, due to the player's agent, Ramy Abbas.
Ogün confirmed that the cost of the additional clauses in Mohamed Salah's contract requested by Ramy Abbas, such as image rights and a share of shirt sales, is nearly equal to the player's expected salary with Besiktas.
He explained that Ramy Abbas will meet again with Besiktas management to finalize the agreement on signing Mohamed Salah.
