Pyramids FC announced that a player from their first football team has received the Best Player in Egypt award, presented by a renowned global network.
Pyramids FC is preparing to face Abu Qir Fertilizers today, Thursday, at 8:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
According to Pyramids FC's statement, Moroccan international star Mohamed El Shibi, the right-back, won the Best Player award in the Egyptian Premier League for last season.

Pyramids FC confirmed: "The award was presented by the global SofaScore network, which is considered one of the most important sources of statistics for football players and major leagues worldwide."
The statement added: "The global network listed several reasons for selecting Mohamed El Shibi as the best player in the Egyptian Premier League, noting his participation in 22 matches wearing the Pyramids FC jersey, scoring two goals and providing six assists."
The statement continued: "He also boasts ideal statistics unmatched by any other player, notably averaging 83.5 touches per match, along with an extraordinary average of three key passes per game."
It concluded: "El Shibi also achieved an ideal average of 2.40 accurate crosses per match played in the league. Furthermore, he received the highest player rating across the entire Egyptian Premier League, averaging 7.57. The network affirmed that the player delivered all these exceptional statistics throughout last season, thus deserving the Best Player award."
