Press reports indicated that one of Europe's giants is close to signing the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to bolster his attacking line next season.
Turkish Beşiktaş is considered the club most strongly linked to the Egyptian star, who departed Liverpool's ranks at the end of last season.
Mohamed Salah participated in the 2026 World Cup competitions with the Egyptian national team and contributed to the Pharaohs advancing to the round of 16 before the defeat and exit at the hands of Argentina.

Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu published via his official page on the "X" site that Beşiktaş board member Ahmed Çağlar excited his club's fans and posted a picture of Mohamed Salah via his official page on one of the social media sites "Instagram", writing "soon".

The Turkish journalist confirmed that Beşiktaş reached an agreement with Salah on the financial terms, while the contract has not yet been signed due to an additional request from the player's side.
Mohamed Salah's lawyer traveled to Dubai on a previously scheduled trip, and he is expected to return to Istanbul to complete the agreement on medical examination procedures and contract signing.
