Marcelino García Toral is among the most prominent Spanish coaches nominated for the role, thanks to the 61-year-old's extensive experience with clubs such as Valencia, Bilbao, and Villarreal.
Marcelino's playing style relies on discipline, solid defense, quick transitions, and collective organization. He is considered a highly effective option due to his reliance on a 4-4-2 formation, which he has previously implemented using players with distinctive attacking capabilities.
Other Spanish coaches stand out as candidates, such as Imanol Alguacil, thanks to his successful model at Real Sociedad, and Jagoba Arrasate, who represents an easier option in terms of signing.
Names such as Antonio Conte and Vitor Pereira, along with other Portuguese coaches, are also among the circulating options to manage Trabzonspor. The club is additionally considering names like Arda Turan, Fatih Terim, and Abdullah Avcı for appointment to the position.
