Zamalek Club has announced the refereeing team for its match against AS Port of Djibouti in the CAF Champions League.

Zamalek will face Port in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on September 12 at Cairo Stadium.

Zamalek revealed that it received a notification from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) appointing a refereeing crew from Burundi to officiate the match.

Bertrand Manriqueza will serve as the main referee, assisted by his compatriots Renovate Bizumurimi as first assistant and Jean Bertrand Irankunda as second assistant, while Rodrigue Bigirimana will take on the role of fourth official.

Additionally, the Confederation of African Football has appointed Libyan Jamal Salem Embaya as the match observer.

Zamalek returns to participate in the CAF Champions League after an absence.

Zamalek reached an agreement with the Djiboutian team to play both the home and away legs in Cairo.

Last season, Zamalek reached the final of the CAF Confederation Cup but lost the title in a penalty shootout.

The first leg match will be held on Friday, September 4, at Cairo International Stadium.
