The board of directors of Al Masry Club has decided to part ways with team coach Emad El-Nahas, despite a good start with 6 points from three matches in the Egyptian League, with Ahmed Sami set to succeed him.
Emad El-Nahas
Club: Al Masry
According to information obtained by FilGoal.com , Emad El-Nahas has already left his position as Al Masry's coach, and an agreement has been reached with Ahmed Sami to take over the team. He is set to begin his tenure by leading the team's training session tomorrow, Wednesday, at 8:00 PM.
Ahmed Sami's coaching staff at Al Masry will consist of Hossam Abdel Aal as head coach, Ahmed Fathy as assistant coach, Salah Amin as coach, and Osama Abdel Karim as goalkeeping coach, while the fate of the rest of El-Nahas's assistant coaching staff remains undetermined for now.
El-Nahas had taken over as Al Masry's coach before the end of the previous season, leading them to win the Capital of Egypt Cup, the first title for the Green Fortress since the 1998 Egyptian Cup.
On the other hand, Ahmed Sami did not start the season as a head coach, as his last experience was with Modern Sport in the previous season.
Thus, Emad El-Nahas becomes the first coach to leave his team this season in the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Masry started the season with a one-goal win over Smouha, followed by a 3-2 victory over Al Arabi, before suffering a one-goal defeat to Pyramids.
Al Masry is preparing to face El Entag El Harby on September 7th, in a match of the fourth round of the Egyptian League.
Al Masry will participate in the Egyptian Super Cup for the second time in its history, with the tournament scheduled to take place next December.
