FIFA announced the deletion of a new case from the registration suspension cases against Zamalek.
Abdel Hamid Maali
Club: Union of Tangier
FIFA raised a case regarding the transfer value of Abdel Hamid Maali from Union Tangier to Al-Abyad.
Zamalek is trying to resolve the cases and obtain the African license to participate in the next edition of the African Champions League.
Zamalek also insists on the possibility of suspending the unconditional registration ban penalty upon payment (disciplinary registration ban).
With the Union Tangier case removed from Zamalek's cases, the number of remaining cases has decreased to 5, including a disciplinary registration ban case.
Two cases also remain related to the license to participate in continental tournaments: the transfer of Juan Bezerra from Oleksandriya of Ukraine and the remaining dues of Ibrahima Ndiaye.
Zamalek had recently resolved the cases of Yannick Ferreira, the team's former coach, and Ferjani Sassi, the club's former player.
Zamalek had previously succeeded in resolving the cases of the Palestinian Omar Faraj, the team's former player, and the Yugoslav Lazic, the former goalkeepers' coach of Al-Abyad.
It also succeeded earlier in resolving the cases of the assistants to the Portuguese José Gomes, the team's former technical director, namely Luis Vicente, Joao Miguel, and Andrei Biki, in addition to paying the dues of the Beninese Samson Akinyola, the team's former player, and the Swiss Christian Gross, the former technical director.
Zamalek also succeeded in settling the dues of the Belgian club Charleroi related to the deal of the Palestinian Adi Al-Dabbagh, in addition to resolving the crisis of the Tunisian Ahmed Al-Jafali, and the case of the dues of the Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora related to the deal of the Angolan Chico Banza and the French Pierre Bahreli, the former assistant to Yannick Ferreira, and the case of the transfer value of Mahmoud Bentayek from Saint-Étienne.
Zamalek won the Egyptian League title last season for the 15th time in its history.
