Al Ahly Club is preparing for its new season under the leadership of Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, who has many options within the first football team squad, but he will reduce it when sending the final squad for the new season.
There are 42 players in Al Ahly Club's ranks, topped by the trio recently joined in the summer mercato: Oktay Abdullah, Ali Mahmoud, and Sofiane Ben Jedida.
Al Ahly's current squad includes 8 foreign players on the club's roster, but the Red Team will have to part with some of them before the start of the current season.
Al Ahly did not register the duo Reda Slim and Mohamed El Daoui Christo in the initial squad, but they are still present within the Red Team's ranks.
