Tottenham Hotspur CEO Vinai Venkatesham has settled the matter regarding Roberto De Zerbi's future with the team, despite his difficult start to the new Premier League season.
Tottenham currently sits at the bottom of the Premier League table, with the Spurs failing to secure a victory after five matchdays, despite the club spending over £380 million on new signings during the summer transfer window.
Venkatesham said in comments published by global outlet "Tribuna": "The results do not reflect the full picture; I feel optimistic because of aspects of the team's actual performance."

The Tottenham CEO acknowledged: "There is disappointment and frustration within the club, but at the same time, we trust De Zerbi following the changes and reforms the club has undergone."
He continued: "The club made significant changes during the summer, both on and off the pitch, and I realize that these changes may take time to fully bear fruit."
Tottenham occupies last place in the Premier League standings with two points from two draws and three losses in five matchdays.
