He continued: "This group has great motivation and believes in the path we are taking. Two matches, two victories. The past is very important, and it seems things usually go well. What matters now is focusing on today's match."
He went on: "I am fine. The last few days have been full of fast-paced events. I have many years of experience in football, and I know that I haven't done anything to hinder progress. My conscience is completely clear."
Jesus praised Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the Portugal camp after next Sunday's match: "He is an icon and a prominent personality, and this is indisputable."
Jesus concluded regarding the Portugal vs. Denmark match, whether it would be decisive for qualifying for the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals: "It is another three points if we win; it guarantees nothing."
