Gerard Martin, the first-team defender for FC Barcelona, spoke about Egyptian international star Hamza Abdel Karim, the Blaugrana striker, describing him as the most shy player.
Hamza Abdel Karim appeared once with FC Barcelona this season when he came on as a substitute in the match against Rayo Vallecano during the current 2026/2027 La Liga season.
Barcelona is preparing to face Getafe after the end of the current international break, as part of the eighth round of the Spanish League "La Liga".
The match between Barcelona and Getafe is scheduled to take place on October 10th at 7:30 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

During Gerard Martin's interview with the Catalan newspaper "Sport", he was asked to describe the new players of the Blaugrana by their key strengths, starting from Rodri through Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi.
When it came to Hamza's turn, Gerard Martin said: "Hamza is the most shy player at Barcelona, but he is very hardworking and dedicated in his work."
He concluded: "Honestly, he is a truly wonderful person who also possesses great potential in the striker position."
