The Ismaily Club Management Committee announced that it has completed today the full payment of the second and third, final installments due to player Jean Morel, totaling 200,000 US dollars, fifteen days before the scheduled deadline.
Ismaily confirmed in an official statement that the club successfully closed this file completely and finally, as part of efforts to resolve all files related to the registration ban.
It also revealed that reports circulating on some social media pages and websites regarding financial support worth 15 million Egyptian pounds from the Ministry of Youth and Sports within the coming hours are untrue.
The statement continued: "Circulating such inaccurate news disrupts the serious and sincere efforts currently being made to complete the steps for lifting the registration ban, as part of the campaign sponsored by the Governor of Ismailia."
The statement added: "There is no truth to reports about new sanctions against the club in the Ben Khamassa case, and what is being circulated in this regard is not based on official information."
It concluded: "The official page of Ismaily Club is the sole authorized source for official information and data. We urge the club's fans not to follow unverified news or rumors spread through social media platforms."
