Fathouh opens the door to departure... A strong warning from Shobir to Zamalek regarding selling the player

Via Btolat

Media personality Ahmed Shobier commented on the situation regarding the departure of Ahmed Fathouh, the left-back of the first football team at Zamalek, stressing the necessity for the board of directors of the White Castle to negotiate skillfully to achieve the maximum possible financial benefit from the deal.

Shobier said in statements through his radio program: "Fathouh will be sold if he receives an offer with a large amount, but 700 thousand or 500 thousand and these figures, I personally reject them even though I belong to Al-Ahly club."

He continued: "How will you sell a player for $700,000? A player of Fathouh's value participated in the World Cup, won African championships, is a heavyweight player; if I were a Zamalek fan, of course, I would be very upset if he was sold."

He added: "Yes, Zamalek suffers from a financial crisis, but it is not so that the club solves the crisis by parting ways with one player after another, and selling one of the best players in the team."

He added: "Bezzera was sold despite the management's wishes. Okay, Hossam Abdel-Magid was in the final period of his contract and did not renew it, therefore he insisted on leaving, and the club sold him to somewhat solve the financial crisis."

He continued: "Some will tell me that this is the last year in Fathouh's contract, and it is possible that he leaves the club without compensation, so Zamalek must be skilled in negotiation, just as happened in Bezzera's deal."

He concluded: "In Bezzera's deal, Zamalek said that we obtained the highest possible financial consideration, and we believe them in this matter, so you must be skilled in negotiations and obtain the highest consideration."
