Pyramids FC scored their second goal against their Kenyan counterpart Gor Mahia in the match currently underway as part of the 2026-2027 CAF Champions League competition.
The match between Pyramids and Kenya's Gor Mahia is being held at Nyayo National Stadium in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, in the first leg of the preliminary round for the 2026-2027 African season.
Moroccan player Walid El Karti had scored the opening goal for Pyramids in the fifth minute of the first half, following up on a shot by Mostafa Fathi.
Mahmoud Saber succeeded in scoring Pyramids' second goal before the end of the first half with a shot from outside the penalty area, sending the Sky Blues into the second half leading 2-0, which grants them comfort and allows them to decide the outcome of the first-leg encounter.
It is worth noting that the return match between Pyramids and Gor Mahia will take place at 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, according to the schedule set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
