The Chairman of Konyaspor issued an official statement following the 1-0 defeat to Erzurumspor in the third round of the Turkish League.
Konyaspor has now lost four matches and occupies the bottom spot in the league standings. Yesterday's match saw Egyptian professional Mostafa Mohamed, who recently joined from Nantes, make his debut starting in the second half.
Ömer Atiker, Chairman of Konyaspor, said in an official statement on the club's website: "To our dear Konyaspor fans, the consecutive defeats we have suffered over the past four weeks have saddened us all."

He added: "This situation does not satisfy us at all; however, we firmly believe that together we will overcome this difficult phase."

He continued: "We believe we have successfully completed the transfer period by strengthening the positions that needed reinforcement, and we have full confidence in our technical staff and players."
He went on to say: "Now, the Trabzonspor match awaits us, and with God's help, this match will mark the beginning of our resurgence, and we will bring our team, Konyaspor, to the status we all desire."
He added: "You, the fans of Konyaspor, will be our greatest source of strength; therefore, I call on you to stand by our team and continue your support and belief in it."
He continued: "We have shared sorrow and joy together, and now we will rise together again. It is time for us to unite for Konyaspor, and by God's will, we will once again experience beautiful days together."
Konyaspor will face Trabzonspor next Saturday at the Konyaspor Stadium in a match that will bring together Mostafa Mohamed and Mohamed Salah.
