Hany Abu Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, celebrated the renewal of Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan's contracts with the Egypt national team in his own unique way.
The Football Association had previously announced the renewal of the Egypt national team's technical staff contract, led by Hossam Hassan and his brother Ibrahim Hassan as team manager, until 2030.
The Football Association revealed via its official website that Abu Rida hosted a dinner party for the twin brothers Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan following the renewal of their contracts with the Egypt national team until 2030. The event was attended by Khaled El-Dorandaly, Vice President of the Football Association; Ahmed Helmy El-Sharif and Tarek Aboul-Einein, members of the Football Association's Board of Directors; and Walid Badr, the team's administrative manager.
The Egypt national team is preparing to play two matches against Angola and South Sudan on the 25th and 29th respectively, during the first and second rounds of qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
Additionally, the Egypt national team will play a friendly match against South Africa next October.
In the previous edition of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Egypt national team delivered outstanding performances and achieved historic results, qualifying for the Round of 16 for the first time in its history before being eliminated by Argentina with a 2-3 loss.
