Yasser Ibrahim scored Al-Ahly's winning goal in the final minutes with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area and was awarded the Man of the Match prize.

On another note, Mostafa Shobeir said on Al-Ahly TV: "The match was difficult, and all league matches are like this. Al-Ahly's matches are always like this; everyone plays against us in the same way, with a strong defensive block."
