Al-Ahly's first football team is preparing for a tough match against their rival Smouha, as the two teams meet in the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ahly is scheduled to face Smouha at 8:00 PM tomorrow, Thursday, in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League at Cairo International Stadium.

Al-Ahly had secured victory in their previous match against ZED with a clean 2-0 win, after starting their league campaign with a 3-2 victory over Sharqia Enppi.
Al-Ahly enters the match occupying third place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 6 points, aiming to achieve a third consecutive victory and challenge league leaders Pyramids, who have 9 points.
On the other hand, Smouha seeks to improve their position in the Egyptian Premier League table, as they currently occupy 17th place with only one point, gathered from a loss and a draw.
A large number of players will be absent for Al-Ahly, headed by Imam Ashour due to lack of technical readiness, in addition to Omar El-Saei, Reda Salem, Achraf Dari, and Karim El-Deebis, while Mohamed Magdy Afsha has returned to the squad after missing the previous match against ZED.
