English club Manchester City has announced the departure of their player Jack Grealish once again, despite his return to the team following the end of the 2025/2026 season.
Grealish played last season on loan at Everton and returned in the summer to Manchester City, featuring in one match during the current Premier League season.
As announced by both clubs, Grealish has once again returned to Everton on loan from Manchester City for the current season.
Grealish participated in 20 matches for Everton, scoring two goals and contributing six assists, before suffering a foot injury that ended his season in February.
Previously, Grealish won the Premier League Player of the Month award for August. He was not part of the plans of former City manager Pep Guardiola, which led to his move to Everton.

In a statement to Everton's official channel, Grealish said about his return: "It's a great feeling; I'm very happy. I believe I perform my best in everything in life, not just football, when I feel loved. That's what the manager, my teammates, and especially the fans have given me."
He continued: "Every time I see an Everton fan, I feel pure love. I will never forget how they welcomed me since the first match against Leeds. This means a lot to me, and I hope I have made some Everton fans happy."
He concluded: "I had a wonderful time here during the first six months, then stayed after my injury. I followed all of Everton's matches during pre-season and since the start of the campaign. Now I feel completely ready; I am prepared to start training tomorrow and get ready for the matches."
