Chelsea announced on Tuesday the signing of Italian international defender Onest Ahanor from Atalanta.
The transfer window in European leagues is set to close on Tuesday evening.
Chelsea reached an agreement to sign Onest Ahanor from Serie A side Atalanta, with the defender officially joining the Blues in 2027.
Ahanor (18) made 35 appearances for Atalanta last season—his first in Bergamo after joining from Genoa in July 2025—and his impressive performances with the club earned him his first two caps for the senior Italian national team last June.
Chelsea defeated Fulham (3-2) and Brighton (4-3) in the first and second rounds of the English Premier League.
Chelsea will face Arsenal in the London Derby next Sunday in the third round of the Premier League.
