Zamalek announces the extent of Mohamed El-Sayed's injury

Mohamed Osama, head of Zamalek Club's medical staff, revealed the extent of the injury sustained by Mohamed El-Sayed, the team's midfielder, during today's Premier League match against Suez Petrojet.

Zamalek had defeated Suez Petrojet 2-1 in the match held at Cairo International Stadium in the third round of the Premier League competition.

Mohamed Osama stated that Mohamed El-Sayed suffered an ankle sprain, and coordination was made with the technical staff to substitute him in order to protect him.

Mohamed El-Sayed got injured and was substituted in the 83rd minute, replaced by Abdullah El-Said, after he had entered as a substitute at the start of the second half, replacing Adam Kayed.

The midfielder scored the White Castle's second goal in the 62nd minute, breaking away and shooting with his right foot to the left side of the Suez Petrojet goalkeeper.

The White Team raised its tally to 7 points, occupying second place, while Suez Petrojet's tally remained at one point, placing them in fifteenth position.

The White Knights will face their host, AS Port Djibouti, on the evening of September 4th, in the first-leg matches of the Round of 64 of the CAF Champions League tournament, at 8:00 PM.
