English international Jude Bellingham, a first-team player for Real Madrid's football club, spoke about his team's match against Málaga in the 2027/2028 La Liga season.

Real Madrid faced Málaga today, Sunday, in the third round of this season's La Liga championship.

Real Madrid hosted Málaga at the "Santiago Bernabéu" stadium, and the match ended with a 4-0 victory for the squad led by Portuguese manager José Mourinho.

Real Madrid entered this match following their valuable 4-1 win over Real Sociedad in La Liga, a game that saw Kylian Mbappé score his first hat-trick of the season.

Jude Bellingham managed to score two goals in the match against Málaga; the first was officially credited to him, while the second was not attributed to him after a defender attempted to clear the ball, but it deflected off the goalkeeper.

Jude Bellingham said in statements via "Real Madrid TV": "It was a great match, but the last 20 minutes were poor; I don't know why, but they weren't good."

He added: "Now I feel slightly more freedom with the ability to drop back into defense or play in an advanced or deeper position on the field if needed. I am enjoying my time on the pitch, and that is why I am playing well."

Regarding the Bernabéu fans' tribute to him upon his substitution, he said: "It is very special; it is an honor to play for this club at this stadium and with these fans. The applause was wonderful."

He concluded: "We have a very strong squad and a great team with quality in all positions. When the coach wants to make changes, those who did not play in the previous match are ready."
