Media reports have revealed that Real Madrid has secured a new signing during the current summer transfer window, as the Merengues continue their efforts to strengthen their squad in order to compete for all titles this season.

Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Real Madrid has finalized the deal to sign Sergio Martínez, with the royal club reaching an agreement with Racing Santander to acquire the young player.
He added that Sergio Martínez will join Real Madrid immediately without being loaned back to Racing for the remainder of the season, signing a four-year contract until 2030 for €3 million, which was his release clause at Racing.

He clarified that Sergio Martínez rejected several offers from English, German, and Saudi clubs due to his desire to wear the Real Madrid jersey.
Furthermore, he noted that Real Madrid manager José Mourinho showed significant interest in signing Sergio Martínez, and the player will train with the first team, as he is regarded as a top-tier talent.
According to recent reports, Martínez will initially play for Real Madrid Castilla at the start of his journey with the Merengues.
