Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah sent a message to the fans of Turkish club Trabzonspor following their elimination from the Europa League by Hungary's Ferencváros.
Trabzonspor suffered a defeat against Hungarian side Ferencváros with an aggregate score of 5-0 across both legs in the final qualifying round of the Europa League.
Led by Mohamed Salah, Trabzonspor will now participate in the UEFA Conference League after exiting the Europa League tournament.
Mohamed Salah posted a message on his official Facebook page stating: "Nothing in my professional career has ever come easily."
He added: "Bad nights and disappointments are part of football, and I have learned to turn them into motivation and achievements."
The Egyptian star continued: "Trabzonspor is my club, and I am part of this project—body and soul. Last night's result will not change that."
He concluded: "I know expectations are high, and I truly believe we can and will deliver. I came here to win; this is not just a badge for me."
Mohamed Salah's next match with Trabzonspor will be against Amedspor in the third round of the Turkish Super League.
The match is scheduled for Monday, August 31, at 9:30 PM Cairo time.
