Media personality Ahmed Shobier revealed the behind-the-scenes developments in Al Ahly's dressing room following Wael Gomaa's appointment as football director, as well as the reactions of the Red Fortress players.
Shobier said on his radio program: "There is a sense of ease within Al Ahly Club's dressing room towards Wael Gomaa, especially since he is well-liked, works hard, and is characterized by clarity."

The former Al Ahly goalkeeper added: "There is also a sense of ease with Essam Sarraj, given that he is calm with the players during negotiations regarding contract renewals with the team."
Al Ahly Club had announced the renewal of the contracts of Emam Ashour and Marwan Attia, allowing them to remain with the first football team, in coordination with football director Wael Gomaa.
Al Ahly is preparing to face Zed team tomorrow, Friday, after defeating Sharqia Enppi 3-2 in the first round of the league.
