The source indicated in his statements that today's ruling by FIFA to suspend registration stems from a final verdict issued on May 21, which affirmed the Ukrainian club's right to receive 200,000 euros following its complaint against Zamalek for non-payment of the due installment. He clarified that Zamalek's focus at that time was on settling outstanding cases by March 31 to obtain the license for participation in African tournaments.
The source explained that Zamalek paid the Ukrainian club Oleksandriya an amount reaching 1.1 million euros before obtaining the license, which confirms the club's seriousness in settling overdue dues.
The source reassured Zamalek fans, confirming that today's ruling does not warrant concern, as it ends immediately upon payment. Zamalek will include the Ukrainian club's installment in its accounts among the cases it is settling to conclude this matter before next January.
