Mamdouh Abbas, honorary president of Zamalek Club, spoke about the absence of Juan Bezerra, a player for the White Knights.
Bezerra refuses to return to Zamalek Club, despite the start of the season.
Mamdouh Abbas stated in remarks on Al-Nahar Channel: "The Brazilian boy (Juan Bezerra) went to one of the Emirati clubs and informed them that he has the right to obtain his release from Zamalek Club."
He added: "The Brazilian boy received money along with his father from the Emirati club, and he has disappeared; they are still searching for him."
He continued: "A kid like this won't buy and sell at Zamalek Club. Why all this? He used to dance for the fans; now the fans are standing against Bezerra. Will we stand against Bezerra or Shiko Banza? Zamalek will play and continue its journey, and we have an important match ahead."
He concluded: "Someone told me, 'Your kindness is toward Zamalek Club.' I told him, 'Shut up; Zamalek is what made my name.'"
Zamalek Club received an offer from UAE's Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai Club to purchase Juan Bezerra, but the offer was rejected.
Bezerra's contract with Zamalek Club extends for the next three seasons.
