Mamdouh Abbas, the honorary president of Zamalek Club, discussed several matters concerning the club's first football team at the White Castle in recent times.
Mamdouh Abbas stated on the program "Odet El Lebs" on Al-Nahar Channel: "What is happening at Zamalek Club is that a case will be referred to the Criminal Economic Court, accusing certain individuals of obstructing the club's operations."
He continued: "I swear by God that within 10 days, names will be referred to the Public Funds Prosecution."

He added: "There are players who refused to attend the Zamalek training camp before receiving their dues. Despite all these conspiracies against Zamalek Club, it remains great and formidable, feared by everyone."
He further said: "Look at how many blows are being directed at Zamalek Club with the aim of destroying it, but this will not happen. Zamalek has seen the departure of Mido, Hassan Shehata, and other major figures, yet it has remained at the top."
He continued: "The Brazilian player who scored 8 goals joined a club in the UAE, received an advance payment, and then disappeared. We will file a lawsuit against him, and Zamalek will recover its money and more. (Someone like this cannot buy and sell freely at Zamalek Club.) Why? Because he used to dance for the fans? Is it not the same audience that cheered for him now standing against him?"
He added: "Zamalek Club is what made me, and I am not doing any favor to Zamalek. No one should claim that I have done something special for Zamalek, as there are many others who have supported the club."
He continued: "Zamalek is in danger, and it must overcome the current situation with utmost wisdom and courage."
He pointed out: "I am not defending the Zamalek board, but Hussein Labib bears much responsibility, although there are people within the board who want to destroy the club, which is shameful, and I can mention their names."
He said: "The current players at Zamalek must be properly nourished, and there must be a system we follow. The parrots appearing on sports programs must stop. What does it mean to say that Zamalek stumbled because it drew a match?"
He concluded: "I am a member of Zamalek Club, not just an honorary president, and what is happening is shameful and must stop."
