The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the refereeing team for the match between Zamalek and AS Port, the champion of Djibouti, scheduled to be played in the CAF Champions League.
The board of directors of Zamalek Club, chaired by Captain Hussein Labib, succeeded in relocating the first-leg match of the preliminary round one of the CAF Champions League to be held in Egypt.
The match between Zamalek and AS Port is scheduled for September 4th, as the first leg of preliminary round one of the CAF Champions League, at 8:00 PM at Cairo International Stadium.
CAF has assigned the match officiating to a refereeing team from Burkina Faso, comprising Hamidou Diarro as the main referee, assisted by his compatriots Lamine Doufient Adolf as the first assistant referee and Daouda Traore as the second assistant referee, while Jean Ouattara will serve as the fourth official. Additionally, South Sudan's Sebit Liberato Beji Rasa has been appointed as the match commissioner.
The return leg will take place at 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 12th, at the same stadium.
The winner of the two matches between Zamalek and the Djiboutian champion will face the winner of the two matches between Eagles (champion of the Democratic Republic of Congo) and the Rwandan National Army in preliminary round two.
