Al-Hussein Ammouta, the Moroccan technical director of Al-Ahly Club, has requested that Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari be prepared to avail of his services in the upcoming period.

Ammouta was not content merely with requesting Ashraf Dari's preparation; the Moroccan coach also desires to rely on Yasser Ibrahim's services in forthcoming commitments.

The duo missed Al-Ahly's league opener against Eastern Enppi, a match clinched by "The Red Devils" with a (3-2) result.

Ammouta's Request to Reinstate Dari and Yasser Ibrahim

A source revealed via "Yalla Kora" today, Monday, that Al-Hussein Ammouta has requested Ashraf Dari be prepared as soon as possible to be utilized in upcoming matches.

The source added that Dari is undergoing training alongside rehabilitation exercises simultaneously, in order to prepare him as required given Ammouta's desire.

The source clarified that Dari is undertaking additional training, especially since the player has now become part of the technical staff's calculations for the new season.

Dari had been tipped to leave Al-Ahly this summer, but the player failed to reach an agreement on departure, given his desire to receive the full value of his contract.

In another context, Al-Hussein Ammouta intends to rely on player Yasser Ibrahim, especially as the Moroccan coach granted the player rest following his last participation in the 2026 World Cup.

Ammouta relied on the duo Amr El-Gazzar and Hady Ryad during the recent period, both in the match against Eastern Enppi and throughout the preparatory phase.

Al-Ahly is scheduled to play its next league match against ZED on Friday evening, in the second week's fixtures.
