Al-Sharqia ENPPI Club is preparing to play its first match in the Egyptian Premier League for the new 2026-2027 season against Al-Ahly.
Al-Sharqia ENPPI will visit Al-Ahly at 8:00 PM Cairo time at Cairo International Stadium.
The Al-Sharqia ENPPI team, led by Mohamed Barakat, is suffering from numerous absences in their confrontation with Al-Ahly in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Absences of Al-Sharqia ENPPI against Al-Ahly
A source at Al-Sharqia ENPPI Club revealed the team's absences for the match against Al-Ahly in the Egyptian League, noting that six players will miss the league's opening match simultaneously.
The source stated that Al-Sharqia ENPPI's absences include (Hamed Abdullah, Ammar Hamdi, Ahmed El-Agoz, Mohamed Samir, Hisham Adel, and Ahmed Sabiha).
Hamed Abdullah is absent due to an injury in his quadriceps muscle, while Ammar Hamdi is unavailable due to lack of technical readiness.
Additionally, the duo Hisham Adel and Mohamed Samir will miss the match against Al-Ahly due to muscle injuries.
Meanwhile, Ahmed El-Agoz has been absent for a long period after sustaining a fracture in his metatarsal bone.
Ahmed Sabiha is also absent from the match due to suspension by the club's board of directors for failing to renew his contract with the team, which expires in the summer of 2027.
