A player from Zamalek's first football team won the Man of the Match award in the game against Al Ittihad Alexandria, held between the two sides in the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek drew goalless with their counterparts Al Ittihad Alexandria in a match played this Friday evening at Cairo International Stadium, in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Omar Gaber, captain of Zamalek, was awarded the Man of the Match prize for the game against Al Ittihad Alexandria. The right-back received the award directly on the pitch immediately after the final whistle, having started the match.

Zamalek's lineup against Al Ittihad Alexandria included: Mehdi Soliman, Mahmoud Bentayg – Mahmoud Hamdi "El Wenesh" – Mohamed Ismail – Omar Gaber, Mohamed Shehata – Ahmed Fathouh – Adam Kayed, Ahmed Sherif – Nasser Mounsi – Oday Dabbagh.
The match between Zamalek and Al Ittihad was officiated by referee Amin Omar, assisted by first assistant referee Mahmoud Aboul Regal and second assistant referee Hany Khairy, with Ahmed Hamdi as the fourth official. Hussam Ezzab served as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), supported by Mohamed El Shenawy as the Assistant VAR.
