Egyptian professional Ibrahim Adel contributed to his team Nordsjælland's clean sheet victory over Swiss side St. Gallen in the first leg of the Conference League qualifying playoff.
Nordsjælland's only goal was scored by Niklas in the 13th minute of the first half, with a very powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, assisted by Egyptian Ibrahim Adel.
Ibrahim Adel threatened the opposing team's goal in the 36th minute of the first half, but the danger of the chance faded after a touch deflected the ball slightly away from him.

In the 45th minute, Ibrahim Adel attempted another shot, but it went wide after he broke free from his marker inside St. Gallen's penalty area.
At the start of the second half, Ibrahim Adel's first attempt was blocked by a St. Gallen defender, and the ball was caught by the visiting team's goalkeeper in the 47th minute.
In the 60th minute of the second half, Ibrahim Adel left the field in a double substitution for his team Nordsjælland. The second leg will be played next Thursday in Denmark at the Swiss team's stadium.
