Developments in the settlement of Salah Mesbah’s dues

Fahmi Belhadj, the lawyer for Moroccan player Salah Mesbah, stated in an interview with Yalla Kora that a notice had been sent to Zamalek SC regarding the overdue dues.

Salah Mesbah’s lawyer said: “We sent a notice to Zamalek SC due to the delay in paying the outstanding amount, and the club responded, expressing its readiness to pay the amount.”

Fahmi Belhadj added in this regard: “Salah Mesbah, for his part, has waived the accrued interest, leaving him with only $404,000 remaining.”

The Moroccan player’s lawyer concluded: “We are expected to receive the transfer from Zamalek SC today, but so far, we have not received any transfer.”

It is worth noting that Hossam Al-Mando, the treasurer of Zamalek SC, confirmed that the crisis with Salah Mesbah has been resolved, pointing to an agreement with the player on the mechanism for settling the dues.

Mesbah had previously obtained a ruling from the Dispute Resolution Chamber, ordering him to receive an amount totaling approximately $800,000 as a penalty against Zamalek SC.
