Al Ahly Club officially announced the signing of Mahmoud Salah, Ghazl El Mahalla player, during the current summer transfer window, to bolster the team's squad in preparation for the new season.

Al Ahly clarified in an official statement that the club signed Mahmoud Salah from Ghazl El Mahalla on a contract extending for 5 seasons.

The club noted that Dr. Essam Sarag El-Din, head of the contracts sector, completed all financial and administrative procedures for the deal, in full coordination with Wael Gomaa, the director of football.

Al Ahly's signing of Mahmoud Salah comes as part of the club's moves to bolster the team's squad with new elements, in preparation for competing for titles during the upcoming season.

A source had previously confirmed in statements to Lila Koura that Ghazl El Mahalla agreed to Mahmoud Salah's departure to Al Ahly, noting that the player's release would be sent to the Red Devils immediately upon signing the contracts.

The source explained that Ghazl El Mahalla achieved the maximum possible financial benefit from the deal, after agreeing with Al Ahly to receive 35 million pounds, in addition to 10 million pounds in bonuses, as well as a 25% share of any future resale of the player.

He indicated that the total value of the deal could reach around 45 million pounds if all agreed bonuses are realized, excluding the resale percentage.

The source revealed that Mahmoud Salah waived 2 million pounds of his dues from Ghazl El Mahalla as part of the details to finalize the deal and his transfer to Al Ahly.
