He added: "Technically, I consider myself a winger who possesses skill and loves one-on-one situations, one against one, and collective play and exchanging passes with my teammates".

He continued: "I am still twenty-four years old and I have a great scope for development ahead of me, but I hope to give my best".

Hassan believes that his experiences in French and Spanish football have helped him become a well-rounded player, and that he developed after moving abroad at a young age: "I have experienced playing in two different styles of football, which made me a more complete player, and on a personal level, leaving France at the age of eighteen and the accompanying discovery of a new country and learning a new language was a great challenge".

Haitham resumed: "This is what I want to do here as well, learn the English language and get to know a new culture and discover a new style of football, I am very excited about this experience".

Haitham Hassan was asked about representing the Egypt national team at the World Cup, where he said: "It was a great honour for me and I felt great pride in representing Egypt at the World Cup, it is a great country where we love football and we clearly felt that love during the tournament, representing the homeland in a competition like this is a dream that every player aspires to".
